Bright room with good facilities including USB connections next to bed. Lovely shower with great lighting in shower room. Near to the quay which was a lovely area and a short walk into the city although there is a bit of a steep hill to start with. Breakfast excellent and plentiful. Was good to be able to have a pizza or a few other dishes in the evening as well as an alcoholic or soft drink. Staff excellent - friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for reception or breakfast staff. View of the river was a bonus. Residents could bring an animal to stay too which seemed a great idea. They stay on the first floor only and have an additional charge of £25 for the total stay to cover the extra cleaning of the room. There is a TKMax, Next and Boots about 5 minutes walk over the bridge as well as a swimming pool and Exeter St Thomas railway station where you can get a train to Dawlish, a lovely seaside town. Exeter St David’s is a 15 minute walk with some river views. This is an easy flat walk. My first and last photos show Exeter cathedral, second photo is the view from the room. Photos 3 to 6 very local to hotel.

Loved the hotel, staff were always so friendly, breakfast was good food, rooms were so clean and serviced everyday! The only issue was a suspicious stain on the curtain but honestly it was so minor we didn’t bother bringing it up. Tea and coffee in the rooms. Plus shower gel, shampoo and soap. Bar open till late, affordable prices, clean restaurant as well. Honestly just such a good all round hotel. Also! One night we needed a hair dryer and reception brought one to us which was nice. Hotel is in a perfect location too, 10 min walk to town centre.

Location on the outskirts of the City Centre near the railway and river, City Centre and historical attractions within easy walking distance or otherwise accessible by regular bus routes. Proximity to the river and the Quay, a waterside redevelopment housing cafes and boutiques great option for evening entertainment. Staff very welcoming, family room was clean and though cosy, met all requirements. Buffet style breakfast great value and more than sufficient to feed growing teens.

Diana

The staff were very helpful and the rooms were pleasant and comfy although a little small with the sofa bed up (we did just come here to sleep though so that worked okay for us. Arthur enjoyed doing John Wick stunts from the two beds and watched a film on the tele he really liked. Emily endured some low level persecution from her sister but they seem to be friends again now. Leonie did a couple of trumps!! Ben coughed lots, and did some honky nose blows

The breakfast was good, we especially liked the system of being able to take out a breakfast for on the go. We booked this Hotel as it was dog friendly, there was water bowl and treats in reeption when we arrived and the receptionist gave our dog a lovely welcome, we were very impressed as this is the first time we have stayed with our dog, he has a lovely time!
